How the partnership works

East Coast Employee Benefits is an Authorized Partner of Employment Hero. Clients we refer can take advantage of the partnership terms above. In return, ECEB earns a referral commission paid by Employment Hero.

This does not change what your benefits brokerage costs or how we deliver it. The benefits side and the HR & Payroll side are handled by different parties under their own arrangements.

Will ECEB still be our benefits broker if we add Employment Hero?

Yes. The benefits relationship with East Coast Employee Benefits is completely unchanged. Group plans, renewals, claims questions, and plan design all stay with us.

How much does the Employment Hero partnership cost ECEB clients?

There is no fee from ECEB. Clients we refer pay Employment Hero directly at preferred partner rates, with waived implementation fees and a few months of free service. ECEB earns a referral commission paid by Employment Hero.

How long does Employment Hero implementation take?

Typical implementations range from two to six weeks depending on the size of your team, the scope of the rollout (payroll only versus full HR), and how clean your existing payroll data is.

Can we use Employment Hero for just payroll, not full HR?

Yes. The platform is modular. Many businesses start with payroll only and add HR, recruitment, or employee engagement modules over time.

Is Employment Hero set up for Canadian payroll rules?

Yes. The platform is built for Canadian tax compliance, including federal and provincial deductions, CPP, EI, ROEs, and T4 preparation.
